What the calculators do with your inputs

Nothing leaves your device. The purchase price, state, buyer profile and options are processed by code running in your browser; they are not sent to a server, stored or linked to you. The link you can copy contains your inputs: share it only with people you choose.

What the host records

Like any web host, GitHub Pages records technical data for each request (IP address, date, page, browser). The publisher does not receive or use these logs for profiling. They are kept according to GitHub's own policy, which may involve processing in the United States.

Anonymous stability monitoring, no cookies

The site sets no cookie and the publisher records no personal data about you. To keep the site working, it uses Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin, in cookie-free mode: errors, loading times, clicks that lead nowhere and scrolling are measured for each page view, without a cookie and without linking visits; page content and your inputs are masked. Microsoft receives the technical data of the request, including the IP address from which an approximate location is derived, keeps recordings for 30 days and aggregated data for up to 13 months, and may process it in the United States. Under the GDPR the basis is legitimate interest in a working site (Article 6(1)(f)); this page is the notice APP 5 requires. You can object by blocking clarity.ms or writing to us. Messages you send

If you email us, your address and message are used only to reply and are kept for three years after the last exchange.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988) and, because the publisher is established in France, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or erased: write to contact@stampdutyaustralia.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
